It's All About the Lips

Today, we talk about several lip products - most of them common and well-known.

Lets start with the Tarte Lip Scrub, called FRXtion.


I got this in a goody bag and I’ve been trying it for the past little while. One side is a balm, while the other is a sugar scrub that you rub on your lips to help exfoliate them when they're overly dry.

Honestly, it’s just too hard and I don’t look forward to using it at all. I think that when you see it at a Sephora, the tester has been used by so many people that it’s all melty and seems like it would be easy and fun to use, but at home it’s really not.

Inside Out Lipgloss

Tarte's new Inside Out Vitamin Lip Gloss is making big waves. Tarte has teamed up with Borba so that the lipgloss has vitamins that protect your skin and nourish you in case you lick your lips. I don't know whether this is a great way to get your vitamins or if the gloss does indeed have a significant amount of vitamins in it. I do know that the lip gloss is pretty great regardless! All three colours are pretty and sheer, though I think that the Apple-a-day is the best pick simply because bright pink lips are in this season. The gloss isn't sticky at all and has a slightly sweet taste. The bonus is that it comes in a JUMBO tube, much larger than your average lipgloss container. Overall verdict? Pretty pretty pretty.
