I have a think for these Olay foam cleansers because they magically dispense thick foam that feels ever so luxurious when smoothed on to your skin.
I've got a spot of extra-dry skin on my forehead for some reason, and so I decided to switch to a more moisturizing cleanser, and the one I'm using is Olay Moisture Replenishing Mousse Cleanser.
I have to say that while it's not drying, I don't find it to be that moisturizing, really. I think that it's because it's a foam and foams by their very nature are kind of drying. Overall, if you insist on using something foaming but have dry skin then this is the product to use, but if you're looking for dry skin relief I don't think that this alone is going to do the trick.

Cleansing Towelettes
Here is a foot care product that may seem a little unconventional to you - cleansing wipes that you probably have around to use on your face.
I use Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes when I'm too tired to wash my face at night, but these also have another great use.
You can use them at the end of your day to clean your feet. It's easier to do than turning on the tap and soaping your feet in the tub, and you'll be able to get into bed with clean feet. They are a must for the summer months, since wearing sandals all day can really make your feet dirty.
They wipes also take of makeup nicely and you can even get rid of mascara with minimal and gentle scrubbing.

Olay Definity Penetrating Mousse Cleanser
I love Olay's mousse cleansers! They are all great, and I highly recommend them because the mousse is cushiony on your skin and it washes everything away so easily! The Olay Definity Mousse Cleanser is a good one because it has little bits in that help exfoliate your skin but very gently! The cleanser is best for oilier skins or used at the end of your day.
If you need a new cleanser, try this one - it is at drugstores everywhere.

Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse
Dermalogica recommends that you begin your skin care routine with their Pre-Cleanse.
It's a rosemary-scented oil that you massage into your skin. It emulsifies the impurities on your skin and when you add water to it, the oil washes off. The product is similar to La Mer's The Cleansing Fluid.
The Pre-Cleanse really does work and makes your skin super-clean without drying it at all. Dermalogica recommends that you follow up with another Dermalogica cleanser, and I did find that when I followed their routine, I had very clean skin without it being dry at all. Even oily skins can use this product, and they'll find that it cleans your skin without completely stripping it of moisture.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
Follow up using Dermalogica's Pre-Cleanse with Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel.
What's so special about it? It foams with soap, cleans without drying. In the mornings, I use this cleanser without the pre-cleanse and love it. It's refreshing and works!

Great Exfoliator
You all know that I try a lot of products and some times it's hard to get excited about each and every one. And then every once in a while I come across a product that completely blows all the others out of the water, and I just can't wait to talk about it.
The Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser is that product.
When you turn the Wave on it starts to vibrate and makes a humming sound. The cleansing disk is attached to the Wave using velcro and already has cleanser in it. You wet the Wave, and start rubbing it on your face as it's vibrating. You'll see a little bit of lather produced but not much. Just keep rubbing your face with it for a couple of minutes.
When you're done, you will notice cleaner and softer skin. Moreover, after using it continuously for a few days, you'll see that your skin is much clearer! I think that this works by literally vibrating the gunk out of your pores. It really really works and is worth every penny. If you're wondering about the size, it fits neatly into the palm of your hand. You can find it at drugstores everywhere!

The New Cold Cream
If you're old school then it's likely that you're already familiar with the ways of using cold cream as a face cleanser at the end of the night. Women would put this cream on and then wipe it off with a tissue, taking their makeup with it. It was called "cold" because it had a touch of alcohol in it which dried as you put it on and accounts for that cooling effect.
Not many people use cold creams anymore, but the idea of a creamy moisturizing cleanser is useful, and Olay has just the thing.
If you have very dry skin, try their new Total Effects Nourising Cream Cleanser.
It's essentially a modernized cold-cream formula. It's not as thick and very very emollient so it rubs on very very easily. It also has ingredients in it that help it rinse away cleanly without leaving a residue and only moisturized skin.
I'd recommend this for those of you who have extremely dry skin. Among some of the primary ingredients are Petrolatum and Mineral Oil which means that when it comes to moisturizing, this packs quite a punch. That, of course, is a good thing given the time of year, but be aware of it. This is on drugstore counters everywhere now.

Facial Cleansers for Dry Skin
Everyone has dry skin on their face at this time of year - even us combination skin gals need something a little extra for our faces and that's why I'm going to recommend that you try an oil cleanser. It sounds strange, I know, but the newest cleansers rinse clean and leave no residue!
Try La Mer The Cleansing Fluid.
It is great. You massage it into your dry skin and it dissolves any makeup or impurities that were there. As soon as you add water, the texture of the oil changes and it dissolves into something else and rinses away. It's great. Your skin is soft and clean without any additional tightness at all. You must try this.

Cleanser Question
My dear friend Tara asked me to recommend a cleanser for her. What I'm using right now is nothing special but it works. A few weeks ago, I had some breakouts so I changed cleansers. I started using Noxzema Triple Clean Antibacterial Lathering Cleanser.
It's a little drying for this time of year, but my skin loves me for using it and looks great. I just follow up with a light moisturizer that I love and I'm good to go. A little goes a long way - I need less than a pea-sized amount and I know that this large tube will last me a long time.

Noxema Cleanser Review
These days I'm using Noxzema Triple Clean Blackhead Cleanser. I've never been a "Noxzema Girl" but I figured I'd try this out because having a mild exfoliator can be good for the skin and I enjoy a minty cleanse in the summer-time. This cleanser is one I like. I think that the base is very similar to the original Noxzema cleanser which is here supplemented with little blue beads. The scrub is mild and the cleanser isn't too minty. Really you get the cool feeling once you've washed it off and are drying your face, so I didn't find this irritating to my skin in the least. There was a minor residue left afterwards which didn't really make a difference to me since I use a toner anyway. Best part? Affordable, easy-to-find, and pretty good at taking makeup off too.

A Multitasking Handwash
All Air Canada planes stock the Fruits and Passion Globe Spa Purifying Handwash in their restrooms. The handwash not only smells good but is gentle on the hands.
Well this past winter, as I was coming back from my vacation, I ended up needing to wash makeup off on the plane. Though I had packed a Dove Cleansing Puff, I wasn't in the mood to scrub my skin. I decided to just use the handwash in the bathroom, and I'm glad I did.
Using the handwash, I was able to remove my makeup effortlessly. Not only that, but the gentle formulation left my skin fresh not dry, and it didn't leave behind a residue either.
If you're on a quest to keep your bathroom a little less cluttered, this is a fantastic product to keep by the sink.
